Sedum hybridum Stonecrop

'Immergrünchen' - Already popular in Europe, this sedums' vigor reminds me of 'Weihenstephaner Gold'. It most closely resembles kamtschaticum but the evergreen foliage is a bit larger and wider with somewhat scalloped edges. It too has good fall color of oranges into red. The flower is yellow just above the 4" tall foliage. Full sun, well drained soil. (Groundcover.)

Sedum kamtschaticum Russian Stonecrop

05 'The Edge' - Another variegated form of kamtchaticum, this one emerges with a bright yellow edge and fades to a lighter green  in summer. Glossy foliage more in the line of ellacombianum.
We received this from breeder Ed Skrocki.

Sedum kamtschaticum Russian Stonecrop

ellacombianum - The two main differences compared with the species are a slightly more upright habit but still only growing 6-7" tall. Then there's the give away foliage that is always a shade lighter green, slightly glossy and has amazing fall color. Well worth planting for foliage effect alone. Golden yellow flowers like the species. Deciduous.

Sedum lydium Mossy Stonecrop

‘05 Reminds me of a green hispanicum. Thin red stems sprawl
around with bright green balls of foliage. Grows in loose mounds 2-3" tall.

Sedum middendorffianum Stonecrop

Another one with great vigor reminiscent of 'Weihenstephaner Gold'. The growth habit is the main difference. A bit taller and sprawling while the foliage too is a bit wider but still only 1/4"- 3/8" wide. Great red fall color. Yellow flowers to 5". Full sun.

Sedum middendorffianum Stonecrop

'Striatum' - It's hard to mistake this sedum due to its 1" long slender leaves usually only 1/8" wide and thick they are almost needle like. They also tend to have some red highlights through-out the season. Deep red fall color too. Yellow flowers.

Sedum murtdaghensis Stonecrop

'04 More like a Hens & Chicks, we've had this one for a while. Many bright green rosettes with rose highlights average about 1" wide
forming round clumps a few inches high and wide. Creamy white
flowers in summer. Full sun, well drained soil.
Sedum pluricaule Stonecrop

‘05 ezawe 'Island of Sakhalin' - Tight short mounds of silver foliage only growing 4-5" tall and wide. Shy or late to flower. We have not seen any significant flowers
