Dianthus arenarius Sand Pinks

A Hebron Hardy plant meaning it was planted in the field when we moved plants from Glenview in 1987 and survived  unattended until 1992. 15" stems. Clusters of dark buds are almost black and open to
a deep pink. Full sun, well drained to average soil. Can self sow.

Dianthus superbus Tall Pinks

'04 This unusual Dianthus is taller and later blooming than most.
Green striped leaves with 24-30" stems; many lavender pink
flowers at the end of summer into fall. Full sun, well drained soil.
Dianthus gratianopolitanus Cheddar Pinks

'Tiny Rubies' - An extremely compact mounding habit and a profusion of fragrant, double rose-pink 1/2" flowers that almost cover the foliage in May make this one of the best retail sellers. Needs good drainage and division every three or so years. Full sun.

Dianthus subacaulis Cheddar Pinks

'Gary Eichhorn' - Reminiscent of 'Tiny Rubies' variety with cleaner foliage. Short, clean, spreading mounds with delicate, very fragrant, pink flowers starting mid May. Full sun to light shade, well drained soil. An Intrinsic introduction!

in May. Ephemeral. Prefers moist to well drained soil and shade
