Our breeding and selecting work includes many Genus.
Here are some of the plants
we are looking at.
ALLIUM
We are currently looking at over 100 seedlings for selecting new forms. Foliage
and sterility are of special interest.
ANDROPOGON gerardii
Selecting red leaved forms.
ASTER laevis
New colors and sizes. Mildew resistance.
ASTILBE
New leaf colors (yellow and red)
CHRYSANTHEMUM
Selecting for new and short forms, colors and hardiness.
ECHINACEA
Many extremely short forms, unique petal and cone combinations.
GEUM
Breeding for rebloom, new colors and forms.
HEMEROCALLIS
Pink and yellow bicolors. New extra (dwarf) short forms, less than 12” tall.
PENNISETUM
Selecting new red flowered forms.
PENSTEMON
New red leaved hybrids with other flower colors.
POLEMONIUM
Red leaved forms!
SALVIA
New leaf colors (rusty & red). White flowered!
SEDUM
New, smaller sized plant with broad foliage and rot resistance. Improved red
leaved types.
