Welcome to the Intrinsic Perennial Gardens (IPG) website. Our goals for the
website are to provide information that may not be feasible in our print
catalog. First and foremost is our Picture Gallery where we have over 300
pictures. Second would be many plant lists we have generated due to customer
interest and requests. Then there is much more about the company and what we do
including information about the founder, our plant introductions, and links to
other plant related websites.
Enjoy your look around and comeback to see the rest when you have time. Be sure
to add our site to your favorites.
Intrinsic Perennial Gardens, Inc. is a wholesale container nursery growing
mainly 1 gallon perennials including tender perennials, ferns, grasses, shrubs
and vines.
Best Regards,

The Green Line- Ferns grown greener™ Our
first plants to be grown using a biodegradable pot. From now on the ferns from
Intrinsic will not only be grown in a biodegradable pot, but the soil will come
from your own back yard, which consists of local leaf compost. This type of soil
is what ferns grow in naturally. These plants will be fertilized with organic
fertilizer. All plants are grown from spores, tissue culture, or nursery grown
divisions to eliminate wild collected roots as a source. Ferns are naturally
pest free and so insecticides are never used on these plants. They also tend to
be deer resistant. Ferns combine great with other shade plants like Hosta,
Heuchera, and Astilbe.

The Skyscrapers are the natives of
the short grass prairie.
The streets are paved with flowers and foliage.
The subway is the roots, the soil, fungi and bacteria.
The people are the insects, birds and the bees.
This is our new CITY, our Bio diverse CITY. |
